I had a dental appointment to deal with a toothache yesterday, but when I arrived at the VA, I was told the appointment had been canceled. Normally the VA is very good about notification of cancellations or reschedules, so this was a unusual slip-up. In any case, I spent the night in pain, with not only the toothache, but a dreadful headache, as well.
Today is the day of the massive Chilean earthquake, 8.8 on the Richter Scale.
